Purpose of the activities: to search for the most watery, fractured underground zones and to determine the points for water wells drilling.
Period of field works: 19 - 20 August, 2014.
Period of office data processing: 21 August – 2 September, 2014.
CONCLUSIONS.
According to the results of the geophysical survey, 7 mostly prospective points for water wells drilling were determined.
In geological respect, the survey sites are located virtually in the territory of West-Siberian geosyneclise, that is, underground waters in this region should theoretically gather into water-bearing strata (in comparison with the local sub-vertical zones in mountainous and sub-mountainous regions). Nevertheless, it was shown that even under such conditions, the application of geophysics makes it possible to localize the most appropriate places for water wells drilling.
Notice. Having analyzed the obtained geophysical data it follows that in the lowlands one should start with searching tectonic disturbances firstly to apply geophysics successfully.
